Creating Meaningful Community Connections
At Vitreo, our dedication goes beyond our operations—it’s about making a positive impact and giving back.
We proudly donate to local organizations, environmental initiatives, and Indigenous communities, fostering long-term partnerships that create lasting value.
We believe in contributing to a brighter future for the region we call home.
How we’ve helped
Vitreo Minerals is committed to strengthening local communities by sponsoring events and initiatives. We support many activities, from youth sports to cultural events, to express our appreciation for the individuals and organizations that help us succeed.
Caribou Feeding Ground, McLeod Lake Indian Band
In partnership with McLeod Lake Indian Band, Vitreo sponsors a Caribou feeding ground to support the well-being of local wildlife. This safe space allows Caribou to thrive, with a live cam for visitors to observe them in their natural habitat.
Bear Lake Open House
As the Angus site is near Bear Lake, B.C., Vitreo has had the privilege of hosting open houses there over the past few years. It’s always great to connect with locals closest to the project, answer their questions, and discuss its potential impact on their lives. These events have been successful, providing attendees with the information they need.
McLeod Lake Indian Band Annual General Assembly
Vitreo attended the AGA for the second time to discuss the Angus project and address community questions. The event drew a strong turnout from both the community and industry representatives in Northern B.C., providing opportunities to connect with many people, including Chief Harley Chingee.
Austin Joachim, Horse Lake First Nation
Vitreo is proud to support Austin Joachim from Horse Lake First Nation, a young and passionate athlete pursuing his dreams in the world of rodeo. Austin’s dedication to becoming a skilled rider embodies the spirit of resilience and ambition, and we’re honoured to be part of his journey.
